Kotka Yacht Store moves into Finnish ownership – SuperShipyard Oy has acquired the company's entire share capital
The Finnish Tax Administration's bankruptcy petition was withdrawn in June 2026 after the company paid its tax debts in full, and Kotka Yacht Store continues to operate as normal. In a separate transaction on 15 June 2026, SuperShipyard Oy then acquired the company's entire share capital and business, bringing it fully into Finnish ownership.
Helsinki/Kotka, 17 June 2026 – In a transaction completed on 15 June 2026, SuperShipyard Oy has acquired the entire share capital and business of Oy Kotka Yacht Store Ltd. With the transaction, the company's ownership becomes entirely domestic.
The acquisition secures the stable continuity of Kotka Yacht Store's boat winter-storage, maintenance, and refit operations, and develops the company's service offering over the long term. The move to Finnish ownership brings the company the predictability and reliability that its customers and stakeholders have been seeking. The change of ownership has no impact on the company's customer relationships or day-to-day operations; work at the yard and in the harbour continues as normal.
